Our church goals

These are the goals we're working and praying towards as a church. Every day that finds a sponsor is another day our church is provided for through the generosity of our people — and we thank God for each of you who has taken a day into your care.

First goal: a sponsor on every day / days covered

Every day of the year covered by at least one sponsor.

Long-term goal: every day sponsored in full / shares taken

Every day of the year fully sponsored — by one person, or shared between four.

What it costs

You sponsor a day. If the whole day is more than you'd like to commit to, you can share it at the amount you're comfortable with — a day can be shared by up to four people. That way a day is within reach whatever you are able to give, and more of us can share in the blessing.

The whole day ·

or share it

Prices are for a whole year, collected in small monthly payments rather than one large debit. Your sponsorship then continues each year until you tell us to stop. Every sponsorship goes to the church's general running costs.

What does sponsoring a day mean?
You cover a share of what it costs to keep the church running for one day of the year, and that day is dedicated to you. Most people choose a date that already means something — a birthday, a wedding anniversary, an ordination, a baptism, or a saint's feast day. You can add a reason when you pick the day, and it stays private to you and the parish office.
How much does it cost to sponsor a day?
You can sponsor a whole day, or share it and give the amount you're comfortable with — a day can be shared by up to four people. The figure shown on the calendar is for a full year, and it is collected monthly: The whole day — Or share the day:
Can I sponsor more than one day?
Yes — as many as you like. Pick them all on the calendar and check out once, and they are added together into a single monthly amount. You can come back and add more days later, whenever you want to.
When does the money get debited?
Your gift is collected monthly, on the 15th of each month, and it continues until you ask us to stop — it is not a fixed set of twelve payments. Nothing is debited the moment you sign: the parish lodges your Direct Debit Request with the bank first, so your first debit is the 15th after that is done, and your days are held for you in the meantime. If the 15th falls on a weekend or a public holiday, your bank will usually draw it on the next business day.
Does the money come out on the day that I sponsored?
No. The day you choose is a dedication, not a payment date. Your contribution is spread across the year and collected monthly on the 15th, so sponsoring a day in December does not mean waiting until December to give — or being charged all at once when it arrives.
How do I cancel my sponsorship?
Sign in and open My days, where you can give up any day you hold. We'll let the parish treasurer know so the debit is stopped at the bank. If you didn't set a password, contact the parish office and we'll take care of it — you're never locked into anything.
Is this donation tax deductible?
Sponsoring a day goes into the General Fund, which covers the general costs of running the church — so it is not issued with a tax deductible receipt. If you would like a tax deductible receipt, please consider donating to the building fund instead: Donate to the building fund

A copy of everything you sign

When you check out we email you the days you chose, the amount, and the Direct Debit Request you signed, attached as a PDF. Keep it somewhere safe — it contains your account details. If anything on it is wrong, reply to that email and we'll fix it before any money is collected.

“So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9:7 (NKJV)
